This piece touches on the idea of consumerism and humanity’s need to keep building and destroying the earth with no awareness of its actions, or at least no foresight or empathy for the generations to come.
The bird next to the plane represents the way we are replacing and destroying our natural habitat. Featuring a sky reminiscient of Van Gogh’s Starry Night—but without the stars due to light pollution—and wires and string strangling the life left on earth.
